Typhoon III RODI question

I got one of these used and the guy told me it would need the filters changed when I got it. It didn't come with instruction but I was able to use the ones provided on the AirWaterIce site. Unfortunately, a few of the labels on the valves came off during shipping so I am not exactly sure what it what although I think I know. Anyway, on to my question:

When I take some water from what I think is the RO only tube (it comes from the top near the RO membrane) I get 0 TDS water. When I take water from the valve off the DI canister labeled "product pure water" I get water that is ~30 TDS.

My tap water is about 60 TDS so I suppose just RO water could be 0. But will a dirty DI filter make the water climb to 30 from 0 after the membrane? Does it sound like I have something hooked up incorrectly? (I do have both the fast flush and DI bypass valves turned off)

Anyone have one of these? If you could just verify that the outlet on the side is the RO/DI water the the outlet on the top is the RO only water I would appreciate it.

ro/di output is on the di filter. The output for the RO only is on the top near the middle of the typhoonIII.

That is actually all I needed to hear, thanks! I just wanted to make sure which was which. So it looks like my RO water is 0 TDS but the RO/DI is a lot higher. I got some new filters on the way so hopefully that takes care of the problem.

to be on the safe side, just download the instructions from air-water-ice and make sure all the tubing is run correctly on the typhoon
