So any suggestions on flow and light needs?

Mine is directly under (about 6") a 150W MH. Seemed to like being higher in the tank. Flow is pretty high, but not blasted.

I have seen this thing in all areas of tanks. From high light/low light but most in high flow.

I have mine at the bottom in the middle of the tank under 250's, a friend of mine has it mid way up in the tank under a shelf under 400's with alot of flow.

This coral seems to go anywhere, as long as it is happy.

just a heads up...mine hates and i mean hates to be moved at all...if i do the base turnes all pale and takes months to color back up...once it does its awesome...anyone else have this problem?

I got mine from a local store on the cheap because it looked like crap. It has slowly been coming back over the last 6 months or so, but I recently moved it up much higher in my tank under a 250 watt MH and it seems to really be improving quickly now.

i have mine at the top flush with the rock under a solaris fixture. got it browned out and the color is coming in fast! high flow seems like a constant in all of the posts. mine is almost in the direct path of a koralia 4.

Mine has lots of flow and is pretty high in my tank.Pretty much likes alot of light and once it settles in it grows fast for me.My sunset is not sen to moving it but my superman is

seem like no matter where i put mine in my tank it grows and fast i have a few different peices of it to see where it likes the best but it seems to like it everywhere

Mine does the same thing. Start low in the tank and move it up very slowly. I have mine around 12" below a 250 with lots of random flow.

18 inches deep in the tank under 250w Phoenix DE with medium flow. Grows like a weed. IMO it is better to isolate this piece on an island as it will grow over other pieces. Mine is growing right over a Sand dollar monti.
