Hey, everyone.

I'm doing some spring (now summer?) clearing in my much overgrown tank.

I've posted a thread in the coral prop/sales forum
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1859121

I can also cut any of the mounted frags (LPS) in half and sell at 60% of full price. Let me know if you're interested. I can meet anywhere around Brighton or Rochester. If you're farther out, I can also ship fedex overnight (see above post).

Are you looking for less expensive acans like Acan1 and Acan2 in the original thread? Or are you looking for something more exotic?

And are you interested at all in micromussa? There are some UFO mini-colonies in the original thread (see the link above). I have a lot of other micros too -- some of it on the more expensive/exotic side.

If you're interested in the micros, you can see what I have in the following posts

scroll down until you see my username.

Let me know what you're looking for and I'll post some pics.

First off you have a lot of really nice stuff..I would be interested in some micros like the ufos and the orange floyds..how much would those run at for a small frag..and also do you have any of the sunset acans or other acans that arent too pricey..if so how much do those run at?

Csig,
Actually i may be interested in some more exotic acans too..could you put up some pics of some of the sweeter ones..thanks

Unfortunately, orange floyd is no longer with us. What a beautiful micro. I've never seen anything like it. It just withered away over 6 months. no idea why.

I'll try to take a few pics tomorrow (Sunday) and post them here.

Scott,

here's a std aussie acan colony. It's very nice looking. I just sold both frags of it -- about 10-12 polyps for $40-$50. I could cut a frag for you of the same size for the same price. If you want a larger piece -- or the entire colony -- let me know and I'll see what I can do. I'm guessing the entire colony has about 28-30 polyps.

A bad photo of my sunset acan looks like this

which is the same (now larger) colony as this one

orainbow_1.jpg

It's been sitting in a shaded area, so it's darkened a bit. If you put it in a higher/direct light area, it will lighten like the second shot. Either way, it's a really beautiful piece. I could do $50/2 polyps or $100/5 polyps.

For the UFO, all the frags except UFO3 are still available. If you wanted to do a smaller frag, I could cut any of them in half at 60% of the full price. Or, if you want an even smaller frag, I could cut something as small as a 2-polyp frag for $40.

best,
curt

I regularly ship and discount shipping based on amount purchased. Because this is a local thread and, presumably, people will want to pick up in person, I can also offer the same discount for in-person pickup. Order $250 or more of frags and I'll knock $25 off the price. Order over $500 and I'll knock off $50.

If there's something you're interested in, but don't see the pic, let me know and I'll post the pic (or try the original thread at the top of this one).

thanks.

downset, I don't recall. It was something I bought a small frag of three or four years ago. I believe I bought it from a guy on the in the sales/prop forum. It's not a name brand (e.g., tyree) coral. However, it colors up really nicely under MH's (e.g., 250W Phoenix 14k's). People from the local reef store have mistaken it for the tyree pink watermelon. That said, the tyree pink watermelon and the radioactive watermelon color differently. The tyree is a true pink. The radioactive has a little more red/orange in it -- not quite a true true pink. Still, the color combo is pretty cool -- especially with the green eyes.
