M mskurdah New member Sep 22, 2008 #1 Once again I was suckered into getting a Yuma. I have about a 90% success rate with Ricordea Florida. They've multiplied, grown new mouths, etc. Two x now I've tried yumas and they are there fine for several weeks and then BOOM disappear..... Never again.

M mskurdah New member Sep 23, 2008 #3 My parameters (gravity, temp, nitrates, alk, ca) are all OK. And everything else in the tank is thriving. The only explanation I can see is that my lights were on for an extra two hours the day of the disappearance.

I icy1155 Member Sep 28, 2008 #5 I agree with ATTR... imported yumas almost always die... as opposed to aquacultured which are pretty much impossible to kill.
