Looks likei it to me... get on them now while its on one rock. Take it out and make sure to get ALL of it off or even bleach the rock if neccassary. I wouldnt play around with dinos. Stuff is awful. If its widespread the best aproach is to stop doing waterchanges to starve them of trace elements along with raising ph with kalk.

Good luck man.

Its hard to say though cause the stuff takes many forms as there are a lot of different strains of it. Yours doesnt look snotty enough but ive had the same looking stuff in my tank before and it sure acts like dinos. Mine grew mostly on the outlets of my return and mp10. Its a bateria of some type for sure with the oxygen bubbles all over it. Most brown hair algaes dont produce that many bubbles if at all.

I can't take it out because it's spread throughout the tank. I have a little bit everywhere.

It looks like stringy cyano to me.

I beat them twice, the first time took me 5 months trying to figure it out, second time 3 days. The only thing that ever worked for me was increasing PH to 8.5- 8.6 for over two days using Mrs.Wagers Pickling lime and dosing as a slurry every two to three hours. By far the most PITA i have dealt with within the hobby. Dinos get worst with time so you will have to take them out right or you will go crazy. Water changes and light feed Dinos so decrease your light cycle and no water changes. The ultimate recipe for me was complete blackout (cover the tank glass) and the slurry. They where gone by day 4. You know you have beat them once they all turn grey and see no brown what so ever. Most of my SPS turned brown and lost 4 colonies out of about 23. So yes expect to lose some stock.. fragging is a good idea if you have a buddy to hold them. Dinos are also toxic therefore nothing really eats it, it is important that you blast them off once you kill them. Trying to baste them daily is like keeping water in a punctured container...useless.. they usually return within hours. I feel your pain but just keep going and you will clear them ... good luck

I did a search and it looks like dino's are very snotty looking/consistency. This to me looks more like a stringy slime.

Are we sure this is dino's?

I very recently added a decent size piece of dry fiji rock into the tank and suspected this was from that.

I am pretty sure they are, the only algae that easily blows off the rocks, the other hint is the small air bubbles trapped in the algae. The first time I got them was a result of me moving the aqua scape around, the second time was when I upgraded to a new tank. I found no solid answers of what causes Dinos when I was researching them. They will also re-appear in a few hours. If they do then definitely Dinos.
