Ugh, sometimes I'm crazy...

Am I crazy or can you HEAR that Heniochus eating? He looks like he's grown already! The little scribbled is beautiful....always like when I see a new post on this thread!

You're not crazy... not sure why he makes more noise than the others. Maybe has to do with the way he eats... small mouth... very picky....

Ended up selling the muelleri locally. I didn't see it fitting into any of my tanks. Meanwhile, the three remaining fish (burgessi, heni, and scribbled) are all now eating Salifert pellets... they are the perfect size for these fish.

Hi Peter,
I've been looking for more options in pellets to feed so I googled Salifert but don't see any pelleted foods, just test kit info. Is there another name that is connected with Salifert pellets?

Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen,

It was called Salifert Energy. Apparently it's been discontinued. That said, I have to say the pellets in the video are Ocean Nutrition Formula 2. I've had excellent success getting many butterflies onto pellets with the small ON F2 pellets. Including a rainfordi, flavirostris, and collare....

The only reason I started with the Salifert is because they are smaller in size. I often use the tiny NLS pellets to start with as well, for finicky eaters that won't take larger pellets.

The Salifert pellets were the best. I still have 2 unopened bottles I bought when Premium Aquatics had them on clearance. I have had fish refuse other pellets and take these. Sad they were discontinued.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it!

I had the paucifasciatus first, for a while, then got the larger madagaskariensis, knowing paucifasciatus is very passive. So far, so good. Not calling them a pair, really, just that they get along...

Well they are hating the prazi. I hope that doesn't reflect that they have something severe that the prazi is killing :(

Just not eating or breathing heavy? When I've had fish that don't like the Prazi, it seems like the effects usually wear off in about three days.
