The 1st pic seems to show 2 spots. One below the leading dorsal edge and one above the pec fin. How long have you had the fish? Were they in a QT? Other fish in tank ? etc.

I will try to get a better pic for u guys. The tank is a little over a year old.

I believe the second spot is just a problem with the pic. I swear she is the most camera shy fish it the tank. She seems to know when im tryin to capture her head shots ha. Let me know if you still need better pics i didnt have much time so had to take what i could get..

Today the spot seems to have grown not in diameter but now its protruding off the skin almost like a pimple. Could it just be a sting from the elegance coral that they won't leave alone or is it more likely something worse?

All of the fish have been in for the last six months, but unfortunately i did not quarantine. The only other problem in the tank is a sailfin tang that is recovering from
HLLE which he had when he entered the tank six months ago, he was the last fish to be brought in. All of the fish seem to be doing great. the HLLE is receding above expectations.

All coral is healthy and nitrates are low. I have been running a sro3000 skimmer since the beginning and a brs jumbo crabon/gfo reactor for the last four months. my tank is 150 dislpay and 50 sump.

I've been checking other fish for more signs but cant find any other problems. Any and all advice will be appreciated.

Also after reading countless horror stories i will never be introducing any more fish without a full quarantine procedures.

Feel free to ask any more questions to make an accurate diagnosis. Thanks again

I don't know what the spot is; I doubt if anyone can tell from the pics. That would determine if you moved fish to a QT. Does the spot look like a possible parasite? It could be an isopod or similar parasite, take it off with a tweezers. It doesn't look or sound like ich to me. No reason to quarantine if you aren't using meds. If it isn't festering or spreading and doesn't look like a separate parasite-type critter; I'd just ignore it. BTW, it won't hurt, but there's no real reason for a fish with HLLE to be in a QT.

well just as an update the sore went away and the clown is doing fine. I think she may be ready to start having eggs as iv noticed her and the male doing the classic signs of breeding..
