Uh-oh, flooded basement

I use a 44 gallon brute trash can to mix new water and have it plumbed to the sump in my basement for easy water changes. It has been great, until the float valve failed today and I came home to an extremely wet basement tonight. It is in the unfinished portion of my basement and Ive squeegeed and vacuumed the concrete floor. Is the salt an issue? Im thinking I need to rinse with fresh water, but would like to avoid getting anything else wet. Thanks for your help :headwally:

I used cement floor paint on in my fish room to prevent any "spills" from soaking into the concrete. I use my shop vac to pick up the worst of it and then damp mop it to get rid of the salt residue
