What would you get for between $200-$300 for a 75 gallon mixed reef. I have t5 HO with NO REFLECTORS, a coralife superskimmer modified with a GENX pump, three maxijets for water motion, and a 20 gallon sump/fuge.

Possibly a new light fixture entirely if I get a sweet deal. It would have to be t5s or MH.

I do seem to have a hair algae issue on my rocks. Maybe more flow would do good. I would love MH, but it may cost too much to do it right.

Good reflectors for your t5's and improved flow (remove mjs).

A used MH setup from the Used Equipment forum on RC to compliment your T5's. You could keep any coral you want.

In a reef tank nothing is more important than good light. I say.... get the reflectors for your t-5. It will make all the diff in the world. With the money you will have left over....a nice gift cert at the LFS is always nice.

reflectors would be nice. I saw some on Hellolights for about 19 each. I may get six of those. I'm only running four lamps on my six lamp fixture. It is one of those Catalina lights from ebay.

Grab a Neptune AC Jr. computer/controller. Automation is the way to go!
