Ultra Low Nutrient Systems

Thanks Chris!!

I am already 1/2 under way and have read the Brightwell instructions. I am replacing my gfo with the NeoZeo, and starting the MicroBacter7. Elements get added slowly over time, but my feeding regimen will remain, especially since I already use a component for the Phyto.

I am sure my system will adapt as it is slightly nutrient deficient right now since I added the new skimmer, and I had to increase my phyto with amino's to start boosting a litte. My Goniopora has started coming out again after increasing food and giving him a target feeding of the Phytochrom Yay!

All you experences have helped me understand more on the exact nutrient components over the many conversations we have had about ULNS, and various methods. I am taking the best practices from you guys and starting there. Thank you!!

Lets keep this going though as I didn't start this thread to be sut about any one methos. We have Bill's method here, how about the stuff your doing? Is it ProdBio your getting good results from?

I am using the polyp labs system. It has four parts and I am using 3 of them at the moment. It is similar to the prodibio but instead of having pre-measured vials (and end up throwing away what I don't use) I measure out exactly what I need daily no more no less.

If you have already started the system add twice as much of the microbacter7 than you are supposed to for a week (just keep an eye on things) to make sure that your bacteria population is up to the job. If it isn't you will get weird algae's and bacterial blooms that will set you back instead of moving you forward.
