Umm need help with U-tube overflow assembly

What do I do can some one explain to me what goes where and how? First time with this

Be sure to cover the prefilter box with some mesh.
Snails love to climb in there, get in the U tube, clog it and cause overflows.
They LIVE for that.

thanks for the reminder

gutterguard will be going on mine asap before it goes on the display.

its been on my LR tank downstairs in "test" mode for a month.
