Unboxing my Rock tonight

ok, so I arrive @ home tonight around 5:30 and find this sitting in front of the house. UPS must have loved this delivery.

here is 100# of Fiji laid out on the garage floor....

here I was playing with a few ideas. I did these in about 3 min, just to get an idea of how the bigger pieces might fit.

here is 50# of tonga shelf

and here are the donations from Marco rock to SCMAS. there is 25# of Fiji/Tonga mix, and 10# of Fiji Rubble. These will be Raffled off at future meetings.

looking good im playing with my rock's to I stoped on the way home from you house and got 2 bags of Portlind and i will start on my DIY rocks this week-end some time I lookt in to what you told my with the potery and thats is a bad a$$ id for a reef tank my mom is playing with it to night.

the reef ceramics are really sweet, they are just really expensive! it would be sweet if she could fire some for you though.

I would leave it white, and let it get covered with coralline. Paint would probably leach.

I am going to pick up some reflectors so I can start building my structures.

Rocks look sweet! What are the reflectors for?

 

[LarryW]

I am going to cut the reflector off, and use the plastic rod to support my structures, once I drill the rock and insert rods it should be pretty stable.
