Uncommon Ric Color Morphs

Thanks, made an unplanned stop at a LFS in Houston that I hadn't been too but heard good things about from my local reef club. Ended up coming home with 3 new additions. LOL

Light pink and yellow morphs are sometimes unusual in Florida waters. Orange and blue are always nice, but not rare.

Haitian Ricordea seem to not be quite as nice as Florida specimens, but this could be due to shipping practices or sponge die off on the larger live rock they can be collected on. I've had some larger pieces get very nice colors after acclimating for a few weeks.

Most of the oddball Ricordea pictured in this thread are from Cuba. They are smuggled to the US from Canada as live rock or Florida Ricordea, due to the US trade embargo with Cuba. Reef Raft out of Mississauga, Ontario was bringing them into Canada legally.

Here's a neat one (acro76 might have seen it before).

It's new so not fully opening up yet, and it's more of a hot pink color. I can't get any good pics with my camera.
