underwater pics

my friend just got an underwater housing for his digi video camera we use for hurricane chasing, cost like 200 bucks has all options fully operable to 20ft, im gonna offer to test it down there for him, i cant wait.

Is that a little neon goby sitting on that rock?! i didnt know they were in the keys i cant wait to see them in the wild i love mine!

Thanks for the compliments everybody. I am just lucky and patient. Thats all it takes with the point and shoot digitals.

Yes, you can snorkel, no problem. Like Jeff said, the reef top is close to the surface.

Ricardo, I bought my housing at ebay. You can also look at B&HPhoto.com . They were great to deal with and reasonable prices.

Pocono,

When you come down there are plenty of places to snorkel and see this :)

Ryank,
Yes, it is a neon goby, they are all over the place down there. I thought they were native to here. I need to check that out.

Wow...those pictures are phenomenal!

We've been toying with the idea of organizing a diving/ snorkeling trip up here through PBMAS...I think it would be a blast if both FMAS and PBMAS could organize a trip together.

I'm going to look into hotels, etc. and I will certainly keep ya'll posted on what I come up with.

I hope you guys do something. We would definately try to plan our trip down there to include what ever date you pick (as long as there's a couple weeks lead time).
