Unexpected mushrooms

I just purchased some large Green Fluorescent Mushrooms from liveaquaria.com. They specify 5" - 7" in size. I was expecting a number of fairly large mushrooms, but what I received is a rock with quite a few very small mushrooms. The largest is barely 1cm in diameter. I am not exactly disappointed, but I would like for them to get larger, not just more numerous. Does anyone here know how large these critters can get? They are very crowded on the rock I received, so I think they have fully blossomed at their current size.

How long has it been since you put them in the tank? A thing to note that sometimes, you may not get exactly what is pictured on their website. The can get decently large and multiply, though not as the same speed as the notorious red shrooms.

Looking at the LA description, I think you might have mistaken size of rock for size of polyps?

Depends on your lights. I have a bunch of different types of mushrooms. Its amazing how much they can "expand" during peak lighting hours. If I open up all the blinds to get natural sunlight, they can get really big. I don't usually open the blinds though, because I get lots of glass algae too.
A place like L.A. probably cultivates their corals under pristine water conditions and excellent lighting.

Agreed, the size is the rock size ordered.
