Unidentified worm moving everywhere in tank

I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Normally I would be inclined to say it was a bristle worm, but it is hard to say from that video. I have never had one "swim" like that.

If it is a bristle worm, you will hear mixed opinions on them. Some like them because they are scavengers and can be a beneficial part of a CUC. Others see them as pests, and they can multiply quickly in the right (though not usually good) conditions. They are nocturnal and rarely come out into the light, and can inflict a painful sting if you touch them.

Yeah, that's not a a bristle worm. I've had some type of flatworm that would swim around in a tank before. They'd basically come out at night and "œcorkscrew" to propel themselves. They didn't look as big as what you have but the erratic swimming reminds me of them.

no clue what it is, but it does seem to be having fun : ) It doesnt look big enough to do any damage or eat anything other than scraps, so i wouldnt worry about it.. just another free cuc member.

Its likely just a bristleworm in the epitoke stage which is where they are actively swimming to attract others for reproduction vs the typical bottom dwelling stage..
