Every time I do or re-do my plumbing, I always wana do it over again, lol. I'm about to do it again for a 3rd time in 6 months on this 40g. But I enjoy tinkering with it. Makes me happy, lol

Exactly. And I want to find a cheaper source for Sch80 fittings. Love the grey, and some red or black would be sweet. I know its all the same, but love the look of the colored pipe.

Well, getting away from all that nonsense, and back to my currently subpar display, lol.

The tiles are starting to color up real nice, and that's about all I have to show. I also mounted the Gatorade and orange mandarin zoas. Though I really need a better and HIGHER display where the vortechs are up higher in the water column and completely above my structures where there won't be any direct flow like some of them seem to be getting now. I don't like that, and neither do my polyps. I'd really like my vortechs to be 5 to 6" above my highest tile point.

Anyhow, a quick update shot. Still need to setup 4 more favia spots by getting a few more select tiles.

And honestly, the standpipes suck, but I'm all about symmetry and appearance to the eye. I like the look of them far more than a big old imposing overflow. I'm thinken no matter what I get for a new display, I'm gonna get a non reef ready and buy an acrylic overflow from BRS or the like, and drill the glass and place the overflow centered myself. Maybe. It's a thought right now. I really don't want an overflow to take up any real estate on the bottom surface of the tank. It completely throws off my Fung'shway, lol... I clearly have no idea how to spell that, but if you sound it out, you will get what I'm trying to say

I don't know anything about those overflows bro, I'll have to do some googling, lol.

And as far as our joint, it's called the Stomping Ground, in Putnam. A craft beer and fresh all natural ingredient housemade cocktail bar, and live performance venue as we have live music every nite we are open with no cover charge. Our food menu is quite different too featuring all local, fresh and organic made items. If your ever in the area for any reason, or just love cool and unique bars/restaurants, it's worth popping in. I work every Wednesday thru Saturday nite, 4pm to close. It's funny, my bosses love my hobby and sharing pics with them, I've had fellow reefers meet me there to do purchases and trades. Lmao, it must look so fishy (no pun intended, lol) but my bosses are totally awesome and ok with it. I love the place really, and I'm kind of a bar/pub/restaurant buff. And I know a thing or two about good beer and I've won awards and cash for my cocktails and recipes at competitions in the past. I'm currently writing an article about my methods, which will be featured in a couple online publications soon, so that's cool

Google it, we are on FB and you can check it out there. We have 30 foot artist made, Japanese dragon hanging from our ceiling. No place like it around. Very cool :beer:

Some new zoa pics. I'm absolutely in love with this first orange morph I got from Bigfish (Mike) at the end of last summer. It took them a while to come around as I almost killed them, but they are lookin pretty good now

I really like the white ring that came in on these around the brilliant orange body.

The new fruit loops are coming along, and even popping out a smaller polyp on the bottom side now. So that's cool.
