Unknown Parasite on firefish

I have a firefish that has three little 2mm-3mm white leach looking things on him. They are very flat and are moving around. He even has one on his eye now. Trying to positively identify culprit and figure out solution. Is it safe to give it a freshwater dip and see if they come off? Thanks in advance.

I can't tell much from pics, not just yours. I'd treat with the wormer, Prazi-Pro. IMO, all fish should be treated with it anyway and its very safe, can be used it the DT too.

My purple firefish got the same white-looking like that a couple weeks ago. I ran an UV and soaked food in the garlic extract. It all disappeared in 3 days.

I had the same thing on my firefish a couple years ago. I did a freshwater dip, and it came off after a little coaxing. I never did find out what it was, but if you do a search - there are quite a few threads about this particularly with firefish.

Flukes will often fall of from a FW dip; there are a zillion kinds of these worms and Prazi-Pro does a great job with them.
