Unplanned tank takedown

Diane / Ted,

Plumbing repair finished so tank is going back up tomorrow. Which means Mr. Gramma needs a home ASAP. If eiether of you still wants him, can you let me know tonight? I really don't want to subject him to any more "tub time" than necessary.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,

So glad you're construction is complete. I cannot come to get him. I apologize for the runaround. Tried to get ahold of you yesterday but haven't had any internet for 24 hours!!!! AGGGGGGHHHHH... Now I'm behind deadline and cannot venture out too much.

Diane

Tank is back up and running with luckily no coral loss or any other apparent negative from this event.

Added some new livestock yesterday (thanks to Jennifer at FAOIS): 2 banggai cardinals (one of which is awol this morning?), a yellow watchman goby and two cleaner shrimp. Plan is to add more fish as time progresses.

Pictures are tough because of the curved front glass (and our cheap camera and poor picture taking skills). Below is a full tank shot. Thanks for everyones support and offers to help.

Jim

PS - had several large pieces of live rock left over (currently in my QT). Each piece has some or all of xenia, anthelia and GSP on it. See my post on Tampa forum if interested in any.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Now if I can just find the missing Cardinal. Not on the floor, not in the overflow, looked all through the tank. Sucks that its gone less than 24 hours after going in the tank.

Jim,
The tank looks great! Glad to hear everything went good. Hope that cardinal is just a good hider.
I am interested in purchasing a piece of the rock with the most xenia on it. Please let me know. Thanks, Crystal

Looking good, that tank is a whole different animal now. You plan on keeping some clams on the sandbed? The cardinal is probably hiding out. Hopefully you can see it when it's hungry.

Crystal,
Have someone from Bradenton coming up and buying all the rock.

Really have no plans for clams - not sure if my T-5's would be enough for them with the depth of this tank. Just like the open front look - gives fish (if they ever come out to play) somewhere to swim.

Thanks everyone.

Jim

Thank you soooooooo much Jim for the xenia....I have it toothpicked and back in H2O. It looks ok hopefully it will take this time..... Crystal
