Hi

you can download the new firmware 4.03 here:
http://www.ghl-kl.de/Produkte/Aquaristik/Download/AllProfiLuxII_V403.zip

and the new ProfiLuxControl 4.03 here:
http://www.ghl-kl.de/Produkte/Aquaristik/Download/ProfiLuxControl_II_V4030.exe

new features:

1.) new socket function "water change" -> useful if you want to use the same level sensor for water change and ATO but 2 different solenoids

2.) setting the temperature deviation at which the 1-10V has maximum output is possible (for PropellerBreeze or PTC)

3.) density calculation modified based on customers feedback and new option "density offset"
-> now really everyone should get the reading he is expecting

Just wondering if the software can run on any other operating systems besides Windows easily.
Linux? I have a Mac and I'm trying to avoid having to purchase Vista for the sole purpose of running the software on my system.

hi troutbum

here are some threads dealing with Mac and ProfiLuxControl, maybe you use the search function

It seems emulators are doing really well - but unfortunately I don't know more about this topic - there are other guys having the experience

Hiya

For Mac questions your best resource will be Lorin (Kidney) he is our online tech support guru up in Montreal.

Hope that helps

How's it going for all

How's it going for all

So any feed back on the upgrade?

Any issues.

This is really just a bump :)

Nope all seems fine, few that require to compeltely un-install previous versions first but thats just Vista for you, other than that as per GHL "Bug free" :)

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out over the past couple days getting my controller software upgraded on my computer. I'm pretty sure I'm the Vista fellow mentioned above :) If all companies put forth half the effort you guys do the world would be a better place.

I asked this on the other firmware thread. Can firmware updates be uploaded via LAN/WLAN with version 4.00/2

Many thanks for your kind support, we try to go the extra mile with support.

We pride our selves in being proud to help if that makes sense :)

Creetin, Matthias will answer this for you, at the moment I would say yes to LAN, no to WLAN. Matthias may differ, but in personal experience i do all my uploads over LAN since V3.08

Thanks Michael. I have the LAN and wanted to update via the lan line rather than unhooking the profilux and lugging it upstairs.
Alex

No probs,

Personally have not had issues but it all depends on the stability of your network.

If it crashes it will be down to the network not the profiLux.
