GHL is delighted to inform our customers that myGHL BETA has just reached a new level of quality and stability! In preparation for the introduction of myGHL for ProfiLux, the entire platform has been redesigned to give you the best possible experience. Such improvements will create a solid foundation for the ProfiLux and future releases of myGHL-Ready devices.

This upgrade involves changing our cloud service and therefore all myGHL users are asked to create a new account.

The switch will be performed September 14, 2015 "“ September 16, 2015 and therefore myGHL will be offline during that time. After this date, you may continue enjoying myGHL.

To use your GHL Doser 2 with the new platform, you will need to update your GHL Doser 2 to firmware version 1.13 and add the device to myGHL.

Your GHL team

After the upgrade, it will be made available to Profilux users. The myGHL Profilux will be a beta version, so do keep that in mind.

The new myGHL service is all set for the Doser 2, but the Profilux access is due to be made available shortly.

myGHL-ID is the number that can be found in GCC for the Doser 2's settings tab. This number is assigned specifically to the device and linked to myGHL.

extremely disappointing considering this was supposed to be released after the June RAP based on earlier info released in the spring! where do profilux users find the myghl-ID when it is available to us?

When is the upgrade happening so ghl profilux users can log in?

We launch the public myGHL for ProfiLux 3 Beta before the weekend.

In the first step more than 50% of the ProfiLux settings will be supported (ProfiLux has several thousand settings and a few hundred functions ...), we started with the most important ones, of course.
We are going to do regularly updates until all the features of GHL Control Center are covered.

Details will follow.

I'm finally starting up my new system and want to get my Profilux and Mitras on myGHL.

I set up the myGHL account, but do not have a Doser2. Where do I find the myGHL-ID that is being requested for the new Beta ?

Where do I find this "update your GHL Doser 2 to firmware version 1.13" firmware? I don't see anything on the aquariumcomputer download site beyond 1.09?

Located within PC-Software of the Downloads page, firmware updates have been included within updated versions of GHL Control Center for months now.

Well I was able to figure it out on my own... as is often the case the functionality is exactly as described, if it is not exactly intuitive ;

So for those with a Proflux but not a Doser 2, go to the 'System' page and check the 'myGHL active' box. It is there in the latest version, but might not be present in formers versions so update to v1075 if you have not already. You then will get the myGHL ID & verification code you need to register the Proflux.

I had previously added a rule to my firewall to forward internet port 10001 to the Profilux on my LAN. I would think this would be necessary for myGHL to work, so if you are having trouble connecting and have not done this, go into your router settings and set up that port forward.

As an aside, I also had some issues getting the PWC to control the Mitras. Ultimately I had to set each of the four lamps to slave mode with identical '1' address, and assigned the same '1' address to the PWC. Now it seems to be working fine. There were issues when using unique device IDs on the lamps, which is the instruction in the user guide for master/slave setups... So I think the user guide needs a revision or footnote for when PWC is utilized.

I believe myGHL was added to Profilux firmware update 6.19, GHL Control Center 1.0.7.5.. September 24th.

you are correct.....now don't i feel like the fool for assuming that since they said they would release it by the weekend that they would update this thread!

Oh well....now I know I am a little behind on the uptake but when I look for the firmware update I only see version 6.14 as the most recent.....what am I missing?

I think i know what's goin' on.. You're looking for updates within the Firmware Updates section of the Downloads page, but actually. You'll find that firmware updates are now bundled with GHL Control Center updates within the PC-Software section.

Hope that helps..
