6gal fuge 3.18 lighting. Softies and a massive mysis population that came with the single giant rock. (Thanks Andy) The mysis ride the plumping up to the 12gal and feed the scooter.

how do you get the GSP to stick to the glass? & what is that coral in the pic right before the bright little yellow one?

Super glue a small piece to what you want it to grow on and wait. Growing GSP is like growing weeds. Doesnt take much after you get them started. The green and red coral is an acan.

Snakemanvet -- a sun coral it was in bad shape when I got it only got 1 maybe 2 polyps that survived. But it is looking hopeful.

teena an acan? they come in different colors.

No they aren't photosynthetic. In fact they dont really want to be out in full light. The grow in caves and under overhangs in the wild. I specifically feed it mysis 2X a week and then it gets a squirt of whatever I am feeding the fish daily. When I feed the fish I turn off the pumps for about 30min to let the scooter eat so the sun coral has time to catch stuff too.

So Scott if you are using your 6g nanocube as a fuge ... how does it return to the 12g you just upgraded??? are they drilled? or am i confused on what tank is going where?

I have 2 6gal. The zoa/ric is a stand alone. The other is the fuge for the 12gal. The 12 and that 6 are both drilled. These are old pics from when I set them up. The 12gal has a durso now and I changed out the clear tube for black because algae was growing in it.
