Updated pics of Stand and Canopy from KC

I just finished staining the stand and canopy that was built by KC. I think it looks much better now compared to when he first delievered it. Too bad our tank is being delayed another week. Otherwise I could start on the plumbing... sigh...

Where did you buy the stain (paint) from???
I jacked-up my stain job. I need to re-do.

I used Minwax ebony water based stain. Did 3 coats. Then one coat of minwax oil based polyurethane clear gloss to give it protection and shine. Also, use china bristled paintbrush, it doens't loose as much bristles.

oh yeh, and you can get everything from lowe's or home depot. Its about 8.97 a can for everything. Just one can of stain and one small can of polyurethane will do.

haha, me neither... Rykwong's gf loves that stuff. She stained his setup so I just asked her what to do and took my time.
