Updated Trip to Inland Aquatics - Feb 3rd

YUP!

I plan on getting there somewhere around 6:30 so that I can have breakfast and pour some coffee in my eyes.

Just got home from the trip. WOW I must say Inland is a really NICE place. Mike was really nice and gave us his attention the entire time. GREAT GUY!!!! Glad to see the Barnic (<<Not sure if thats right) club again!! Thanks again to SLASH for hosting this trip.

The trip was great, Captibe was amazing, best SPS I've ever seen.

I also left withthese new toys well used toys.

So where are the pictures? I did not have the opportunity to go with you guys but have been a few time before. I want to hear what has changed from the people that have been there before.

I had intentions on bringing my camera....I really did.

Could be an age thing but I think it's more of a "early morning" thing.

Luckily, I remembered to wear pants.:D

I am sure the rest of the people including those @ Inland are glad you remembered the pants!!!

Captive Oceans was pretty cool.

They were low on corals and fish but it was definitely worth the visit. They told us that someone has just bought a bunch of their corals.

They had a Bubble King in operation on their fish system and I have no doubt that that would have excited you. They also had another lager German skimmer running on their coral systems. Don't recall the name on that one but it started with a G.

do they still have the huge naso there? with the inch long spikes? he was a good 15-17 inches long.

that and the large toadstool where my favorite things when i went a year ago.

It was great meeting you guys!!!! I regret not getting to meet more of the members, but I didn't want to approach every person at Inland, saying "Hi are you with SLASH?" "Hi are you with SLASH?" "Hi are you with SLASH?" That would have gotten me kicked out of the place for sure....
