upgrade advice

My equipments are reaching the end of their life spans it seems. My VHO is a little over a year old, and my maxi-jet powerheads fail to re-start after a blackout.

I have a 29g standard tall. Could you guys recommend new equipments? I currently have few sofities, zoos, and few easy LPS (frog, hammer). Website references would be great also.

Just get another powerhead and new bulbs. That's all you really need unless you really want a true upgrade.

I wanted to hear people's opinion on different brands, b/c I'm not sure which way to go. Obviously, I just have to get new powerheads and a light. But which ones?
