Upgrade complete and fish in tank

that starfish is so cool! Any problems with him bumping and irritating corals?

It doesn't really care where it roams so I have seem it crawl over corals. It crawled over a patch of dragon eyes which closed up until it moved on then they opened back up as if nothing happened.

So far everything seems to be going well since the upgrade. 😃
I had an out break of GHA that have me a scare, because of the battle with it in the previous tank. The turbos and trochus snails destroyed it in no time and it hasn't been back. I did have a small cyano outbreak when I stopped running my GFO for a test. I turned it back on and the cyano is almost gone.
I am very happy that I am getting a little color back in the few SPS I have. It's not super bright but much better then it was. Plus I can see new growth on the tips. The LPS and zoas are growing like crazy and also appear to be settling in nicely.
Now I am on a hunt for the fish I will stock the tank with. I bought a foxface a couple weeks ago but it didn't make it. So for now the bioload is low with 2 pj cardinals, a clarkii clown, and a solarensis wrasse. My linkia star is doing well too. It has a small worm type bug that lives in the crack under its legs. I don't think it is parasitic as it doesn't appear to be causing any damage.

It's been awhile and I have made a few changes.
I've added a few more fish and lost a couple as well.
I added
Sailfin tang
Tomini tang
Midas Blenny super cool fish, my new favorite
Bicolor pseudochromis

I lost one of my PJ cardinals and my solarensis wrasse when MIA while we were on a weekend camping trip. I think he jumped and the dog ate it.

I picked up a nice little mini colony from joe fish a few weeks ago and it seems to be settling in nicely.

This is a piece I got from Grant as a frag. Red body with blue tips.

I am no longer battering GHA, woot woot, but I am working on some cyano. My bulbs are past due for a change so I am hoping when I upgrade to my LEDs it will go away.

The tank is coming along nicely. I haven't updated here in awhile.

No new fish but my midas blenny died :( he was one super cool fish. I think it starved to death. It was eating but just kept getting thinner and thinner. I did how ever find my solarences wrasse, he was living in my over flow for months. I fished him out and in a week or so he had jumped back in. Once i get him out again I will be adding a cover to the over flow.

I finally got around to upgrading my lighting to a Rapid LED 90G kit. I gutted my T5 fixture and dropped my LEDs in and repositioned the T5s for better lighting. In my sump I upgraded my return pump to an Eheim 1262. I added an algae turf scrubber and I hooked up my GAC reactor.

Things are filling in nicely. Im ready to start selling/trading in my larger more common corals for some smaller less common/rare corals.

Still to come will be a few more live stock additions. Im looking to add a fighting conch and some shrimp.

This is just a no picture teaser post. I will post some shots of the tank as well as my DIY LED fixture later after I get home.

Anyone know what kind of monti this is? I got it from the last swap. I think it came from fish pros cuz it was in a bag.

Kind of a bad pic. The LEDs shimmer really messes with the focus.

Disclaimer: I'm really bad at coral ID. OK?

Looks like a Spongodes. If it's not I'm blaming it on the qualilty of the pic! :lol2:
