Upgrade for Profilux Plus II to Plus III?

I just picked up a GHL Profilux Plus II with 4pump doser from Patrick @ OttawaInverts. I was wondering if I can upgrade to the Plus III when it is released.

I read that only the EX is upgradable but there are no options on the EX that I need.

My system right now is very simple but I am sure I will want the Plus III when I upgrade in the future.

I must have originally read that thread too fast. I thought only the (EX) was upgradable. That is great news and can't wait!

To clarify, to turn a PII into a PIII you do need the EX upgrade fitted prior.

So anyone that upgrades from the standard profiLux plus II to the EX using the EX upgrade kit will receive a significant discount when the PIII is released and the PIII kit.

You say there are features on the EX you dont need, just give it time that will change

you can turn a ProfiLux Plus II in a ProfiLux III and a ProfiLux Plus II eX into a ProfiLux III eX

What is the difference between the Profilux Plus III and the Profilux Plus III eX?

It's probably just the same as going from the Plus II to the Plus III, just with the extra EX features thrown in there.

HUH? Ok not what I was told at the start but OK makes more sense now as I could not work out why you needed the EX upgrade to go to the PIII either.

The new controller will be available as a whole called the ProfiLux III

Also an upgrade kit will be available that turns a ProfiLux plus II into a ProfiLux III

IF you have at present a ProfiLux Plus II EX and then fit the ProfiLux III kit to it, that will then become a ProfiLux III EX

So
profiLux plus II becomes ProfiLux III
ProfiLux plus II EX becomes ProfiLux III EX
