Upgrade from Gen2 to Pro?

Good Afternoon,

Call me crazy, but I'm interested in spending even more money! I have a 6 week old Gen 2 and would like to upgrade to the Pro version.

Do you guys offer a program to upgrade? If so, is there a way to do it without being without a light?

Thank you in advance,

Jorden

The new Radion XR30w PRO will be shown off first at MACNA in Dallas in two weeks and it will cost $949, a couple hundred bucks more than the original Radion. Current Radion XR30w owners fear not, your light is not going away or being replaced as an upgrade path including new TIR Lenses and LED clusters will be announced in the future. The Radion XR30w PRO LED will be available in early 2013 and it goes up for pre-order November 1, 2012.

I saw a page last week that let you sign up for upgrading from gen1 to pro for 300.00 or gen2 to pro for 270.00, but I cannot seem to find it anymore.

My problem is my wife wants to merge accounts in a month or two (After taxes) and I'd love to slip this upgrade through the cracks.

oh no...270 for G1 to Pro is seem like too expensive :headwally: as I am expecting 200 or lower....:headwalls::headwalls::headwalls:!

If you buy a gen1 used for 300$ or so then you will only have roughly 600$ wrapped up in a pro or you can spen 900$ to get a pro outright, seems like a steal to me

If someone sells their gen1 for $300 they are either desperate or don't care about losing money.

We don't have an exact date/time for the upgrade posted; it will be in the coming months. Keep an eye on our website for updated information.

Thinking I'm going to upgrade from a Gen1 to the Pro. Hopefully they get this up and running before I spend the money on corals. :)

Have seen them for sale on here before ranging in price from 300$ to 575$ I think I saw one for sale. Seems really steep at the 575$ considering you can get a gen 2 for 650 shipped

Us having to wait months would make me think they'll launch the 'upgrade to pro' program once returns and refurbished units are ready to roll.

I gave EcoTech a call last week and was told the same as above. To check the website on Mondays for the upgrade to Pro option.

Why would you upgrade? I'm on a limited budget and plan to buy the gen 2's soon but continually dropping that kind of dough seems silly when the lights are supposed to last many years.

Isn't one of the greatest features about buying LED is to save money because you don't have to do bulb changes every 6-9 months?
