Upgrade help!

Hi all, advice is needed!

I currently run a 14 gal biocube and am upgrading to a 24 gal JBJ nano. This is my first upgrade and I want to make sure everything goes smoothly. How should I go about doing this? Is it ok to use all the water from my 14 and add 10 more gallons to the new tank? Can I directly add my LR and livestock? OR...do I need to completely cycle my new 24 gallon and then add all my livestock? Thanks!!!

Congrats on upgrading!

In my opinion (and what i did) was to use sand and rock from old tank...you can use the water also but sand and rock has most of the beneficial bacteria.

I did that on my tank...and had no cycle!

Great, thats what I figured would be best. Would it be ok to purchase more livesand? I have the bare minimum in my 14 as of right now. Definitely could use more...thanks!
