Upgrade to become real!!!

Not that anyone was really wondering, but I'm finally going to upgrade. Just bought a house and now I have room for a bigger tank. I went with a standard AGA 90 RR with a custom stand. I'm sticking w/ T5s and picked up a 48 inch 8 bulb TEK Light. Still undecided on flow and skimmer. But I have 3 weeks until I move in, so I have some time. I will keep pics coming along as I make progress (if anyone seems interested). I do, however, need some suggestions for more fish. Currently I have:
2 Clarkii clowns (paired and mated)
1 Yellow Tang
1 Lemarks Angel
1 Orchid Dottyback
2 Green Chromis

What would y'all stock???

Congrats on the new house (especially being in CA).

If it was me, I'd probably go with a wrasse or another tang. I like tangs in general and wrasses have some unique coloration.

On a side note, if you're thinking about selling our old Teklight, let me know. I want to upgrade from a 4 blub to 6 bulb system. :rollface:

I think you already have enough larger fish with the tang and the angel. I would go with adding a wrasse and maybe a type of blenny/goby.

Go with fairy wrasses... very colorfull guys.. pretty peacefull too.

I might be considering. changing my livestock as well to fairy wrasses and similar type fish instead of annthias and dragon gobies...

Going to be bringing the tank home tonight. I am having a custom 42" tall dark cherry stand built right now. It should be done by the end of next week, hopefully. Also, I will be getting my lights tonight. Already lined up some more LR and LS to supplement what I have to transfer over. I am going to make a gate valve mod for my ER and upgrade my return from a Mag 7 to a Mag 9.5. I think I am going with a pair of Tunze 6000 (or 6100 if I find a good deal) and run them on a multicontroller. I also plan on getting a RK2 or ACjr. All in due time. Once I get over the shock of my 1st mortgage payment (which may take a bit), I'll be making some more purchases.
Also, does anyone know where I can find a RO/DI feed water adapter for braided lines? The pierce valve I have obviously will not work. Anyone else run into this problem?

you can also use a tee with a ball valve if your using a sink or toilet pipe thread. i have this and works great.

Is that adapter 1/2 inch? Also, where did you find that stuff?

i got mine included with a ro unit on ebay. its a 3/4 with a 1/4 ball valve adapter you might want to look at your local HD or plumbing store. or send a message to ebay member millet00tw.

UPDATE!!! Got the tank/stand lights up and running. Added some more rock as well. Still finishing the plumbing on the sump. Any suggestions for a return pump? I also ordered an Tunze 6000, big magnet and a mulitcontroller from Al G Blenny. I think I will add another 6000 or a 6055 in a month or so. Here are a few pics. Excuse the cloudiness, but I had just finished re-aquascaping. Enjoy! Comments? Suggestions?

Well, not much equipment to speak of yet. Pretty standard Euroreef, the 8 bulb tek fixture and a couple Seio 620s is all right now. I hope to have the sump running by tomorrow evening. I'll post a few more pics tomorrow or monday. I'm still waiting on my light brackets, background vinyl and all the Tunze stuff. I'll try to keep this thread current as things move along. Thanks for the comments. Nows it's back to making RO/DI water to fill the rest of the tank/sump!!!
