I finally got around to getting a new camera. I have shot a nikon D40x for a year and a half, but today, I went and picked up my new D90. I was so excited that I also picked up some new glass. I could not resist the great price on the 50mm f/1.8

I have a lot of work to do, but I could not wait to get a shot or two of the joculators with the new sensor :)

Next time, I will clean the glass

I am sure there will be more snaps in the future.

When you said that you had upgraded, I figured that meant you'd switched to Canon. :D

Hey, the funny guy has jokes as well  Don't you have some nature to go shoot or some computer upgrade to go work on :D

In all seriousness the D90 is a very capable camera. To top it off, a very fast prime lens is a great asset. Specifically the 50mm focal length is an especially nice prime to have because of distortion. The images do seem over exposed on the sand but I can't see EXIF data. Did you use an imaging editing program to increase contrast with "levels" or "curves"? Congratulations on the new camera, it really is a great one.

Nope, I just wanted to snap a few pics. I know that the pictures are over exposed and not of a high quality. I cannot wait to see what it can with the new camera. This weekend is kind of busy with houshold chores, but I am sure I will also get the 105mm f/2.8 out very soon as well. :)
