ohh i finally got a 3-175 watt retrofit from catalina a couple days ago....I got to say the retro looks pretty sturdy alongside with the ballasts.....

and the bulbs they seem okay...But iam pretty sure someone might say they suck...Ohh well i try to start saving on some different bulbs...But anyways i got their 15K bulbs....

I will try to post pics sometime soon....got to load those pics here again....

Ohh also wanted to know do all urchins eat coraline algae....and are urchins good in the long run (do they clean the tank)....I do want coraline....

urchins eat algae(including coraline), if you want something that eats hair algae.. you might want to consider mexican turbo snails.... they don't eat coraline :)

well here' s a link of photos on my current progress of my tank....

My tank is no masterpiece but iam trying......

The color of the catalina bulbs are 15K and.....

there are also some pics of the retro on my canopy....so far i dont think my water is getting to hot....it seems that the hot air just rises up out of the canopy.....

I ve come a long ways in my saltwater and reef ventures....Iam just finally happy to get rid of that JEBO lights as a first step ...I hope to get more corals to fill up my tank and perhaps John' s new store might be my first stop in the nearby future...

I was just amazed that all my corals survived under the JEBO power compacts till now...But it seems that everythin is good now...Perhaps the only thing now is uprgading to different bulbs...

If you get the Mexican snails make sure you check for their SSN card and employment status, from what I hear they will be charging stiffer fines for the employment of undocumented ones...

RFLMAO. That's way too funny. I was going to make some comments earlier - but didn't think I could get away with it.
