Upgrading Bubble King Mini???

Does anyone know what the difference is on the bubble king mini 160 between gen1 and gen 2 and how much of a difference it makes?

Also is there any kind of a way to upgrade a gen 1 to a gen 2, such as an upgrade kit or something?

the difference is (perhaps) a bit bigger volute, along with an ozone port. Ask in the Proline forum, there was talk about offering an upgrade, but I don't thing there would be much of a difference. It's not like a bigger pump, or the addition of a bubble plate. The larger minis had some more substantial changes, including lowering the bubble plate (?) to allow for more contact time.

i thought the 160 didnt have a gen 1 or 2

The gen2 160 came a couple months after the gen2 180/200 it has a custom milled reducer and venturi and also an ozone port, the G2 160 did not get a custom volute like the 180/200.


The one mojo had is gen2

yea the venturi had a ozone port and the silencer is built into the wedge pipe.
