Upgrading from SE to DE

I have been kicking around the idea of going HQI recently and just wanted to ask a few questions and get a few opinions.

Currently I am running dual 250 watt SE EVC 14k's driven on the EVC electronic ballast. I have been running this combo for about 18 months now and have been pretty happy with it. But after comparing my ballast/bulb combo to the HQI bulbs run by my ballast on Sanjays site I am wanting to switch.

Obviously I need to change my reflector/socket setup and was wondering what brand(s) you would suggest. What do you have and are you happy with it? Links would be great. They will be going in my existing canopy so I have to take that into consideration. Any advice on what reflector pendant type setup is much appreciated.

Any opinions on this? Its not overly expensive I just dont know if I would get that good of coverage.

i just upgraded from vho's to 2x250watt hqi....mounted them in the canopy which wasnt really a good idea because of the type of canopy i have but...i like the light and once i get a few fans i will be able to controll the heat a little better but unfortunately for me once i made the switch my tank had a bad reaction corals started dying/not opening...mainly probably because i didnt aclimate them right
