upgrading lights.

I was wanting to get some oppions on my upgrade. Right now I have 2x175 20K MH and am planing on going to 2x250 14K MH. I have mostly LPS in this tank. 125gal. 72"x18"x22". I also plan to add 2x54w T-5's. So I guess the ? is what should I do for adapting the corals to the new light?

I think just putting in about 4 layers of screen from lowes, between the lights and tank and that will shade them a little, then just remove one layer a week till all are gone. That has worked good for several folks.
