upgrading suction housing on 6100's

Roger,
I have the stream 6100 and would like to improve the wave output to a more "wide spread" and gentle current. This is what I have in mind.

1. Change out the exiting suction housing with a 6200 suction housing (6200.130)

or

2. Change out the exiting suction housing with a 6300 suction housing (6300.130)

My main concerns:

1. Will both of these two housing fit the 6100 ?
2. The 6300.130 does not seem to have the cross bars on the output, will this still work with the 6100 design?

1) Both will fit.
2) Yes, but the 6300.13 will not make any real diiference on the 6100. It poses more of a risk than it is worth in my opinion as fish can easily be sucked in as the intake grate is much wider. The 6100 does not have a high enough flow rate to be restricted by the 6200.13 intake.
