Upside Down Jellies

I've collected them but never kept one for more then a week. I do know they get most of their food through photosynthasis so they need reef type lighting. The sting is mild on humans but can kill a fish or would do damage to a colony of corals so be careful of tank mates. They do well if given the right light and a mild current so they can lay in the sand in full view. Where we collect them is the shallow flats in the keyes, they are in knee deep water in full sunlight and there are lots of them when they are present.

Hope that helps

I've seen them in a species tank at I believe the Florida aquarium in tampa. Maybe if your replies are sparse here you could contact them for info on how they keep theirs?
