Stunning, Brad.
So many incredible tanks around the valley.
Thanks for the response urbaneks. Sounds like a good method of changing out T-5 bulbs. I asked because I switched back to T-5's about 7 months ago, and I am coming up to the time I need to replace the 8 bulbs in my ATI fixture. Thanks again.
Stunning pictures as usual! I always look forward to your updates.
So.many.polyps! That is very cool, and you have some really awesome shots in the collage!
Nice!
That collage is getting bigger and bigger.
After a whole year, it's going to be a very large post.

This is a really beautiful group of photos.April 7th, 2016 - Photo Update
It's been a few days since I've made an update so here goes. I'm continuing to post top down shots after borrowing a top down porthole from friend.
Reef Raft Led Zepplin - This has been growing for more than year. I'm just now starting to get my first branches off of it! YEAH!
East Meets West - Strawberry Field Table and ORA Blue Millie starting to collide. Need to Frag!
Purple Rimmed Green Monti Cap - For any of you that followed my previous 2 builds, this coral dates back to the Nano (almost 9 years ago)
Pro Corals Rainbow - This may end up being my favorite coral in the near future. I love how this coral is getting the gold highlights starting to show through. I've seen some amazing photos of this coral, I hope that mine will come to match those.
Your tank is truly amazing. I'm really enjoying the top down photos.
Reef keeping is life!
Holy cow how have I missed this?
Amazing tank, and LOVE that cabinet and beam!
Incredible pics, and love that you keep the chromis and they are doing so well and laying eggs.
Very impressive tank and cabinet.
This is a really beautiful group of photos.
And the rainbow looks like it will be something else when it grows out and shows off those colours. Wow!
I'm loving the rainbow as well! You take really nice pictures, I always enjoy your updates![]()
Great pics as always Brad!
Question: are you using the premium aio pellets or the traditional ones?
It appears that the traditional ones are much more grainy and full of larger bits of gfo.. The premium ones seem very much like regular bio plastic but brown. I can only assume that the gfo is dramatically more fine in the premium version.
I am very tempted by the premium version as I imagine there would be far less gfo dust produced by them..
Thanks for the info.. How often are you changing the filter sock for the pellet reactor?
Thanks. I'm curious to see if that changes once you completely transition to the 'premium' pellets...
I don't see the clog rate of the filter socks changing. With or without pellets my filter socks clog every 2-3 days.
