Urchin Help!

is it normally for a spiny urchin to love to be on his back? ha? i have flipped my back over and WITNESSED him go back to mouth up? Normal or no? would love to know. thanks everyone!

not a good sign! an urchin on his back is extremely vulnerable and would never not try to right itself if it's healthy. the only time i've ever seen an urchin like that is under extreme duress from medication or other toxin, and that's right before they go to the big reef tank in the sky...
