I just received my Urchin Pro and Mag Drive 5 from Marine Depot. I must say Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m very disappointed.
The collection cup is cracked. I got the unit with the drain kit in the collection cup and there are several cracks around the drain. I could have done a better job myself!
Doesnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t Marine Depot inspect these units before theyââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re shipped? Also, the tubing that came with the unit is 2 inches long. For $236.00, I would think that they could include a piece of tubing that is useful. Come on guys spend the extra $1 per unit.
The collection cup is also a very tight fit inside the unit. If I were to keep the unit, I would have to sand off some of the bottom plat.
There are also some other cracks inside the unit. What should I do? I plan on calling Marine Depot in the morning. I hope they have a decent customer service department. I hope they don't try to pass the buck to the Manufacturer. Has anyone else had this experience?
