Urgent need help

Okay so today when I got home my damsel was swimming straight up and down and a weird black line appeared on his upper back. I need help figuring out what to do. Please I don't want my fishy to die

Tank size, age, current parameters, did you qt, etc.

Usually when fish swim up and down, it means swim bladder. This usually goes away on its own and is caused by constipation.

As for the black line, this could be stress colors. How long has it been in the tank? Please post a picture though.

So the tank is a 120. The fish is about 1.5 years. I'm not at home rn so I can't get parameters.

So I got home today and he no longer had the black line and he was swimming just fine. I think it was the swim bladder and it resolved its self
