Uronema Marinum in 375g

So I was an idiot over the weekend and didn't QT some new Chromis. I just finished setting up a 375 gallon tank and it finished cycling. These were the first fish going into the tank to make sure it was cycled enough for other fish. The seven Chromis I bought on Saturday died within 48 hours. They all had bruising on their sides that turned red. At first I thought the group were just attacking each other, but after some research I think it is Uronema Marinum. My question now is what to do about the tank. It currently is cycled with sand, live rock, CUC, and 3 peppermint shrimp. I have filter socks, skimmer, and bio pellets running. What would you recommend I do in this situation? I was contemplating running hyposalinity for a few months or dosing my entire tank with CP. I know some people recommend a Bleach treatment but I would like to avoid that if I can.

If I were in this situation I'd try to pull out as much of your CUC and any corals that you can and put them into a non-treated tank. Then dose 20mg/L of CP into your display.

Only thing I'd trust to be sure it's gone for good is bleach. Run it a couple days, do a big WC and dump some prime in and you're ready to restart your cycle.

It won't directly cause an issue with your bacteria, however, it does kill algae and inverts. So you may end up with an ammonia spike which could restart a bit of cycle.

Sorry to hear that. But worth it in the long run . All of your future fish purchases could be at risk . Tough way to learn that all fish need qt and medication. Don't want to sound perfect because I have to treat all of my fish for possible intestinal worms . I initially treated several times with metronidazole and praziquantel. Now that fish have been in DT for 3 weeks , I have a rabbitfish that eats like a pig yet slowly becoming emaciated. I have been feeding tank heavy yet to no avail .
