Used Osmolator

Howdy Roger et al,

I'm picking up an older Osmolator today and am wondering should I clean it before using it, or do anything else with it. It is about 3.5yrs old and the pump was replaced about 18 months ago.

Any thoughts?

I had to do a double take on your avatar, as that album is not in my collection and then I realized it was a Sponge Bob Eddie on the Fear of the Dark cover.

Make sure the pump connections are free of corrosion and the optic sensor is clean, the pump connectors are available at Radio Shack as European Terminal Connectors. If these are corroded it can damage the controller long term. Clean the optic sensor by soaking in vinegar for a couple hours and wiping with a soft cloth.

Just a quick public shout out to Roger.

Tried to go buy magnet holder for my used osmo, and he told me to save my money(given the age of my unit), and gave me the parts (I was missing )to use the holders the unit came with instead.

Can't beat A++++ customer service.

Thanks again Roger!

Robb, that would work, of course you'd only use two of the eight pairs of terminals on it. Sometimes those longer strips let you break off what you need, but I can't tell from the photo if that one does.
