Using expansion modules in Profilux 3.1T

I'm looking to upgrade my profilux 2 to a profilux 3.1T. It is possible to use my existing GHL PLM-CondF-Redox expansion card in the new profilux 3.1T?

What is the difference between the EX-expansion and the GHL PLM-CondF-Redox expansion card? Aren't they basically doing the same thing, or is the EX-expansion giving some other benefits as well?

benefit of the eX-Version:
2 extra level inputs (4 in sum)
expansion slot stays free for other later upgrades (you have 2 of them)
