Using my GHL Profilux Dosing Pump (3) for ATO with optical sensor???

First of all I'd like to start by saying the Profilux + Doser is the coolest thing I've ever purchased for my reef before. I cant wait to expand this into oblivion and see how much I can do with it!


Anyways, as the title states I have a Profilux Plus II, and a GHL Profliux Dosing Pump (3 pumps). Currently Im utitlizing pump 1 and 2 to dose my 2-part solution, and I want to use pump 3 for my ATO. I just purchased an optical level sensor last week, and I will be using that to control level.

My question is how to program the dosing pump to turn on and top-off when the sensor says to? I have my dosing unit connected into S1-S4. Right now under socket functions (I believe) I have S1 as Dosing Pump 1, and S2 as Dosing Pump 2. I dont know if for S3 I should choose Dosing Pump 3, or Water level 1?

Then for the dosing pump itself, I go under extras, then dosing pumps. This is where you can enter the dosing pumps flow rate (60mL/min. I believe), how much to dose each time, and amount of dosing per day (24 max). What do I enter here to allow the dosing pump to react when the sensor tells it to?


Any help is greatly appreciated - Im so lost right now.

Water Level 1, it will pump until the sensor, also make sue that you adjust your your maximum on-time accordingly!

Hiya

In the ProfiLux control software you need to program the doser pumps as sockets so it reacts as S1 etc if it is not already programmed. you can test this by programming socket 1 to permenant on and seeing it it reacts.

choose water level 1 for socket 3

By this you have turned the doser to react to the sensor, the dose program is if you want to set a dosing amount.
