Uv watt rating

Hello,

How do you properly rate a uv steriliser suitable for your aquarium?

Its going to be for water clarity and algae control. I know flow rates a important but scratching my head at what size to buy?

Half the water volume. 200 gallon tank 100 watt uv. Also proper water flow.
