Ok, so my tank has been set up for a couple weeks now (forgot to write down exact fill date, plus there was some lag time, ect.). Parameters:
Ammona: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
pH: 7.8 (will be buying a buffer soon, hoping to raise to 8.2-8.4)
Temp: ~75 F
SG: ~1.026 (thinking about lowering it to 1.023)
I was thinking about adding a fish this Thursday/Friday. Would that be OK? I was thinking a Orange Spotted Sleeper goby as my first fish because a. it would be one of the more peaceful fishes I will be stocking and b. the sand bed seems to collecting a lot of detritus lately (from white to tannish) and was hoping to get it cleaned out before it starts decaying, etc.
So far I'm thinking my staples for will be Rod's Reef and pellets (omega one, etc).
