Vectra or Reeflo pump

So I currently have the Reeflo Dart return pump but want to increase my gph. The 2 options I am looking at are the Vectra L1 and the Reeflo Hammerhead. I have about 12' head loss (basement sump). The Hammerhead has more GPH at that height but the Vectra is controllable and has a ton of features. Which would you go with??

Although it has proven to be an excellent pump for my closed loop, the Vectra M1 did not handle head pressure all that well. I tried it in place of my PW200 pumping against 12 feet and I'd judge that it lost close to 2/3 of flow. Obviously the L1 is bigger, but likely will lose the same relative amount of flow. In comparison my PW loses only about 1/4.

Thanks Simon. After some more research I found out that the Vectra is not able to be controlled with my Profilux so I guess I have to broaden the search for a Profilux controllable, high gph pump versus the Reeflo Hammerhead (not controllable).

I know. Just thought that since I had a controller then why not
I'm most likely going to get the Reeflo Hammerhead/Barracuda Hybrid.

Those Red Dragons sure are more money. :eek1:

After some back and forth I decided Reeflo Barracuda is the best option for me at this time. So I contacted Reeflo and since I am a previous Reeflo customer, they're giving me a nice discount for Customer Loyalty. Now I just need to figure out if I want the Gold or the regular version. Anyone have knowledge/experiences with these pumps?? I know the flow rate is the same and other than a 5yr vs a 3yr warranty I am not sure if it's worth the extra $$.
