Vertex IN-100

JokerGirl

Whistler's Mother
I picked up my order yesterday, which included one of these skimmers. I came home only to find the valve for the silicone tube wasn't in the box. Is it supposed to come with one?

Thanks,

Erin

Hi Erin,

There actually shouldn't be a valve on the silicone tube for the venturi. The tube should slide right up through the fitting on the side of the skimmer and hold there.

If you have any questions on it please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Okay, I wasn't sure if it was like the ER where it had a little air control valve for the silicone tube.

Thanks Jeremy :)

I would think you would pull more air without the valve, however the slight restriction could cause to pull just a little more. Out of curiosity have you put an air meter on it yet to see if there is any difference?

i bought a IN-100 from premium in the beginning of the year, and i've placed three orders since- Thanks for Outstanding service!

The IN-100 is doing very well! just remeber 7 inch's of water !

Sorry, don't have an air meter but it had a definite affect on the bubble column. Not big, but curious
