Vertex mOcean 2000 issue

Hey,

I've had my wave simulator for about two years, about a week ago I noticed that it stopped rotating. I've tried reseting the controller, unplugging the unit, and cleaning off any salt creep from the actual unit. I can't get the head to spin around; even the controller will not allow me to change speeds or input any commands. (The speed marker remains at zero)

I would really appriciate some help, hoping my unit isn't broken. I tried contacting Vertex but I haven't gotten a response in the week that I have waited.

Were you able to find a solution. I have the same problem with a Wavysea unit which is the predecesor to the Mocean. I cannot change the speed from 0 or get it to rotate. Any insights would be appreiciated.

Honestly, after posting this thread I went back to my aquarium and the return was rotating as it should. I was able to program the unit and it worked for another 2 days, then it got stuck on 0 and it now spins but I am unable to program the angles. I don't know how to fix it.

Maybe it is a power problem? Just a suggestin. The Mocean didn't store the programming after he is unplugged or without power.

Best regards
Nicolas
